Without the seismic floor, in the event of an earthquake, racks move and facilitate conduction in response to a load imbalance caused by seismic motion; the floor fails to compensate for the difference in amplitude between the lower and upper supports that carry the high loads.

The seismic isolation access floor maintains its load balance even during 
vibrations

When applied to a rack-only seismic isolation device or to the seismic isolation access floor, our seismic isolation technology transmits energy to the top and isolates it to ensure the stability of both the seismic isolation device and the rack resting on the seismic isolation flooring.
